FOR DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION
- Tell about a time you got really lost somewhere.
- In what ways was this “I am” saying controversial in Jesus' time? What about now?
- In John 3:13, Jesus says, "No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven." What's important about that unique qualification?
- Is there a difference between doubt and faith seeking understanding? If so, what is the difference?
- Theologian C.S. Lewis says statements like this leave us with three options for how we respond to Jesus: He's a Liar, a Lunatic, or Lord. What do you think of Lewis' claim?
- How are you leaning on Jesus as "the Way" in your life right now?
- What is God saying to you through today's scripture?
